One of my more recent works and one of my first tries at what is known as a WordPress theme. A lot of of fun to create and it is now live at my personal blog. Great example of why it is good to get out of comfort zones.
Project: 40 Days Left
Date: 2008
Description: I came up with an idea to give up coffee for 40 days and donate all money saved from not purchasing coffee. Each day, I blog about my progress and things get pretty tough. The project was powered by WordPress and design/coding was done by me and made into a theme.

Description: The great thing about WordPress is that they take care of the database gunk for you. I really wanted something super simple with a splash of character and something unlike anything I have ever done.

Project: Experimental Portfolio Layout
Date: 2008
Description: This layout was created in Flash and featured advance rollovers, animation, scrolling text fields, dynamically loading images and text, and audio with custom controls. I chose not to fully flesh out this project because while it was great practice with Flash, it is bad practice to make an entire site Flash based for several reasons.

Project: Knitta, Please!
Date: 2007
Description: Flash has some neat stuff for eLearning applications. I chose to do a 10-section application on how to knit. It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot about knitting in the process.

Project: Corporate Site Layout
Date: 2007
Description: This gem was built but never fully developed. Though it was a cleaner and simpler side to my personal brand, I didn't feel that it reflected my personality enough. Nice design but overall, for my personal site, I wanted something with more character.
